1956 Sunbeam Rapier

The very rare Series I Rapier was in production from 1955 to 1958. The MKI Rapier was well received by the motor press and where known to handle well and have a lively engine by standards of this time. They were available in a range of attractive two tone colour schemes and boasted leather trim and overdrive.

Today very few MKI's are said to be on the road. This lovely usable example is presented very well with nice paintwork, bright chrome and a good standard of bodywork. The upholstery appears completely original with the leather nicely aged. Carpets are worn but the fact that the car is so original inside gives credit to its very few previous owners.

This Rapier is a great user and drove here without fault from Brighouse, West Yorkshie. The car drives very and is a real pleasure on longer distance trips with the advantage of overdrive.
