1963 Vanden Plas 3 Litre Mk II

This stylish Vanden Plas 3 litre was first registered on the 16th December 1963. This very late 3 litre stayed in Wales with just two owners before moving over to Lincolnshire in 1979. The Lincolnshire owner kept the Vanden Plas until 1985 and it has remained with the same owner in North Yorkshire since.

HFF 888 has been steadily used since the 1980's, summer months only. The Vanden Plas has been used for many holidays and has been beautifully kept with fabulous original upholstery. During the late 1980's, the owner fully stripped the vehicle and professionally painted the car in Jaguar Willow Green. Over twenty years later, the paintwork still has a lovely deep shine and the car is structurally excellent. Chrome work is very bright and the car sits beautifully.

On the road this Vanden Plas is quite simply outstanding. This is a very rare manual with overdrive and everything functions correctly. The engine is fabulous and the general performance doesn't dissapoint. This is a car that immediately gives you confidence, it feels right and it capable of long distance touring.
