Hundreds of classic cars arrived at Castle Howard on Sunday 19th June for ‘The Yorkshire Post Motor Show’. The Father’s Day event showcased the Best of British with vehicles judged on the day. One of the show highlights was an aerobatic display from a WWII Spitfire.
Staff from both Classic & Sportscar Centre and Malton Coachworks attended as we exhibited a small display of cars. We were also pleased to see an Austin Healey 3000, two MGC Roadsters, a Jaguar S'Type, a Daimler Sovereign, an MGB Roadster and a very rare Triumph Southern Cross, all supplied by Classic & Sportscar Centre over recent years. We also noticed a stunning Aston Martin DB6 fully re-painted by Malton Coachworks a couple of years ago.
We were also proud to see the Triumph Southern Cross Tourer, owned by one of our local customers John Teasdale, win ‘Best in Show'.
