1966 Daimler 2.5 V8

This stunning Daimler has be known to us for many years. One of our long standing customers bought the car whilst living in New Zealand and later moved back to the U.K bringing the car with him. The car was UK registered in 2003 and has been owned by us on more than one occasion. We have sold the car to regular customers who have enjoyed the car and experienced no problems. Having spent most of its life in a warmer climate, the Daimler has a particularly good body with excellent door and panel fit. The car is beautiful to look at, particularly glancing down the sides viewing beautiful straight panels. The underneath is excellent and the paintwork is of a very high standard.

Mechanically the Daimler is excellent. The engine sounds perfect and runs beautifully having being rebuilt in New Zealand. Over 20,000 miles have been covered since this rebuild. More recent work includes a new water pump and pulley, new brake reservoir, new electronic fuel pump and a Falcon Stainless Steel exhaust system. The Daimler also has electronic ignition and chrome SU air filters fitted.

The interior has been beautifully preserved and is very original. The leather has nicely aged and has had some recent improvements. Carpets, headlining and woodwork are all in lovely condition.

Gleaming paintwork, excellent bodywork, an honest upholstery and perfect on the road. A great car.
